Join us the last Friday of each month from April through September. Oakley galleries, shops and restaurants are opening their doors from 5-9 p.m. with great sales, dining specials and live music.

Margie Bajema will be our guest visual artist for the evening displaying her wonderful felt hand bags, pillows and kids toys.

Have fun mixing mediums! This class will explore photo transfer techniques, printmaking and other ways to build painterly surfaces for dynamic collages. Participants are welcomed to bring xeroxed images, fabrics, papers and other found objects. Instructor will also provide inspirational treasures to pick from as well.

Learn four techniques to create and print your own silkscreen images. We will explore stencils, direct drawing, screen fillers & photo emulsion. Participants will create prints on fabric and paper. The sky is the limit!! T-shirts, bags, curtains, art prints, cards, gift wrap etc.

art4change is designed to serve as a catalyst for city revitalization through the arts. One way is to partner with a variety of schools and organizations to create relationships and inspire freedom through creative expression.

April Event:

Please join Redtree Art Gallery Saturday, March 22nd from 3pm-5pm for the showing of a special presentation of artwork created by Little Brothers and Little Sisters during recent workshops. The framed paintings will be offered for sale at $40 each with proceeds benefiting the Greater Cincinnati chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Display will run from March 15th through April 3rd. If you are unable to attend the special event, please visit during normal gallery hours Monday through Saturday 8am - 6pm and Sunday 10am - 3pm.

This class is designed to help artists uncover the thoughts, feelings and emotions inside of them and express those things in a manner that captures the energy of the raw feeling for them. And, at the same time evoke a unique response from an independent viewer. Heavy emphasis will be placed on color and composition as well as identifying and uncovering the source of inspiration. The artists will walk away with one 24″x36″ completed nonobjective painting and a critique of that work. Please bring your own brushes for your convenience, some brushes will be supplied.
